About the University Situated in
northern England, the University has two campuses serving more than 25,000
students. It is an expanding multicultural learning community, with
excellent links to further and higher education, industry and commerce
throughout Europe
The Approach NTT DATA implemented a
robust SAP support model to consolidate disparate systems and better
leverage technology and information for business processes and
decision-making.
The single, unified support model served 300 active users and 9 academic
schools.
A stringent reporting system was established to provide proactive and
reactive monitoring of the system. The client was provided with database
healthchecks, background jobs monitoring, user management, file space
monitoring and performance tuning.
The Outcome The model, driven by
shared services and offshore execution, provided cost-effective support
services for the University.
Optimised business processes have driven continuous business benefits and
the client has increased productivity and performance and improved cost
